Cooling Methods

Direct

Direct Cooling

Plating solution enters the chiller evaporator directly (through a filter). Requires pure titanium or 316L acid-resistant evaporator. Simpler system, fewer components.

Indirect

Indirect Cooling

The recommended method. Coolant never contacts the plating bath. Heat is transferred via a titanium or stainless plate heat exchanger. Three-stage system: Coolant → Heat Exchanger → Bath. Protects the chiller from corrosive bath chemicals.

Condenser

Air or Water Cooled

Air-cooled condensers for simple installation. Water-cooled condensers for higher efficiency in larger plants. Refrigerants R-410A / R-134a.
