Copper Electrolysis & Tin Electrolysis Equipment
Electrolytic metal recovery for copper, tin, zinc, nickel, chromium & cadmium. Waste solutions, etchants and scrap are electrolyzed by rectifier-driven DC current — high-purity metal deposits onto cathode plates for recovery.
Turn Waste Metal into Recovered Metal
Metals dissolve into process solutions or exist in scrap and waste. Instead of treating them as effluent, our electrolytic cells use rectifier-driven DC current to deposit the metal back onto cathode plates as high-purity recoverable metal — cutting waste treatment cost while returning real value. From copper electrolysis out of etching baths to tin electrolysis out of solder and stripping waste, the recovery cell works for every metal below.
Copper, Tin & More — Metals We Recover
Copper Electrolysis & Recovery
Copper electrolysis recovers copper from copper sulfate and pyrophosphate plating solutions, PCB and metal etching solutions, drag-out and copper-bearing scrap. Reduces dosing, sludge and wastewater copper load.
Tin Electrolysis & Recovery
Tin electrolysis recovers tin from tin plating and stripping solutions, solder baths, and tin-bearing waste. Ideal for solder recycling and regenerating spent stannous solutions.
Zinc Electrolysis & Recovery
Recover zinc from zinc plating drag-out, zincate and chloride solutions. Cuts zinc chemical consumption and sludge disposal while returning reusable zinc.
Nickel Electrolysis & Recovery
Recover nickel from bright and semi-bright nickel plating solutions, electroless nickel rinse and drag-out. Prevents nickel discharge while capturing a valuable metal.
Chromium Electrolysis & Recovery
Treat chromic acid plating and rinse solutions electrolytically to recover chromium and reduce hexavalent chromium load in wastewater treatment.
Cadmium Electrolysis & Recovery
Recover cadmium from cadmium plating solutions and waste. Reduces toxicity load and recovers metal for reuse in controlled industrial applications.
How Electrolytic Recovery Works
Waste Feed
Waste solution, etchant or dissolved scrap is fed continuously into the electrolytic cell. For solid scrap, the metal is first dissolved into solution.
Electrolysis
A rectifier supplies DC current between the anode and cathode plates. Dissolved metal ions migrate to the cathode and deposit as solid metal.
Metal Harvest
The deposited metal layer is stripped from the cathode plate as reusable metal. The treated solution is returned to the process or safely disposed of.
System Components
Electrolytic Cell / Tank
PP, PPH, PVC or FRP cells built to your solution volume and flow rate. Overflow weirs, drain valves and fume hoods as standard options.
Cathode Plates
Stainless steel mother blanks or titanium starter sheets. Smooth, flat surfaces release recovered metal cleanly for stripping.
Anodes
Insoluble lead or DSA anodes for recovery so the solution is not re-contaminated; soluble anodes for refining processes.
Bus Bar System
High-conductivity copper bus bars, tin-plated, sized to your current. Precise contact plates ensure even current distribution.
Rectifier & Control
Matched DC rectifier with constant current / constant voltage control for precise current density and deposition rate.
Circulation & Filtration
Solution circulation pump and filter loop keep the bath mixed and free of solids, ensuring uniform deposition and clean cathodes.
